Course description:
”In this course, we will look at how creativity, technology, and sustainability come together in design, - learning from past and present movements while exploring fresh ideas that will shape a better future. We will draw inspiration from the Bauhaus, the New European Bauhaus initiative, biomimicry, prize-winning architecture projects and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.  
 
Learning goals: 
Gaining insight into innovative architectural and design projects with respect to sustainability, aesthetics, and well-being.
Students will  research emerging trends in sustainable design and share their insights with the class
 
Coursework: will include weekly reading/viewing/ research assignments 
 
Assessment:  70% attendance and participation (discussions, mini presentations, class assignments)
                       30%  individual oral presentation on a relevant subject of your own choosing
